The Long Journey Home

The New York Times has posted a terrific article about the overwhelming lack of support--and the myriad other factors that contribute to a lack of treatment--for homecoming soldiers involved in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and psychologically damaged by their efforts there. It is a beautiful and affecting piece, rather long, but well worth the time if you can spare it.
